EXPELLED!!!

So most of you guys probably know that i'm an atheist and I'm very proud of it. It evolved from believing science to finding the discrepancies in the bible to outright not being a theist. One of the things that really started my state of belief (or disbelief for that matter) is the evolution and creationism argument. Since I attended catholic school and went to mass every sunday when I was a child, I was fed with the idea that earth and everything in it was created by an almighty being, greater than any of us can imagine. He created the world as it is in seven and blah blah blah... I know you know the story. I believed this "theory" on human life and existence until about the fourth grade, specifically until the theory of evolution was introduced in my science class. I started questioning a lot of people about the two theories and how they coincide with each other. Well no one was able to give me a concrete answer and from there on, my faith changed from the mystical beings of christianity to the concrete facts and explainable theories of science.

So you might be wondering why I'm telling you all these crap. Well it's because of this new film called Expelled which challenges the theory of evolution and how it controls the scientific community and how creationism is a valid scientific theory. The film is such crap and it was made to raise a propaganda against evolution with very little integrity. Reasons why I think this? Well first of all, the people that argues for the theory of evolution in the movie didn't even know that the interview was actually a debate. One of the people that was interviewed for the film was PZ Myers. He explains in an article in his blog that he was deceived by the producers of the film by telling him that they would interview him for another movie. Now the producers are advertising"freedom of thought and freedom of inquiry have been expelled from publicly-funded high schools, universities and research institutions." and the interviews that was conducted with PZ Myers and other prominent evolutionist like Richard Dawkins was about this. Now doesn't that sound deceitful to you? If you want a good debate and intellectual argument and you actually have confidence with the point that you're trying to express, why deceive and resort to such trickery? Another thing about the movie is that it points out creationism or the proper term Intelligent Design is actually a proper scientific theory. They make this argument yet they don't provide any evidence for it, any concrete evidence that is. I really loathe this movie. Try and watch it if you really want to and just be critical of it. Don't accept every thing that they try to argue in the movie unless they provide proper reasons for their argument. Oh well, just my two cents. I'm going to sleep now.
