Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi

I'm currently watching this anime. It's roughly translated as "History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi." It's the usual shonen anime. It's about fighting but this one is very light and really really funny. It's about Kenichi and his adventures to become a better/stronger fighter. He starts out as this really weak freshman guy but starts to progress because he is trained by 5 masters in different disciplines. It's really really fun.

My only problem with the show is the attitude of the the main character towards his obviously better fighter companion Miu. Just like Fate/Stay Night, the main character doesn't want their girl companion to fight because he believes that "girls are not suppose to fight", and would rather sacrifice himself than to let the girl fight. I'm kinda irritated with these kinds of characters. I know that some people find it romantic that he wants to protect this girl and that he's heroic that he would sacrifice himself for others but I think it's kinda stupid. There's this person who will obviously win if she fights the opponent and there's you who will probably get beaten up and die if you fight. Is it that hard of a decision?

Honestly, is it really that romantic and that heroic? Since I was a kid I was always fed with the notion that to protect a girl is romantic but isn't it kinda sexist if the girl can protect herself. It's just common sense right? Tell me what you think.

I'm useless and Shrek 3 is cool.

I have been feeling kind of odd lately. I've feeling really bored but I like it. I like feeling useless and I have no purpose. It' so fun. Have you ever had that feeling? My mom will be in Minnesota for 5 days and I don't know what to make of that. She just gave 25 dollars so I think I'm just gonna watch a movie.


I really want to watch Shrek 3. It's the only movie that came out this season that I really want to watch. Spider-man 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean are cool and all but I'm no longer interested in Spider-man and I hadn't seen the second installment of Pirates of the Caribbean so I think I'll be lost on the whole narrative. Shrek is the only series that came out this season that I really like and have watched all the previous movies.

I also want to congratulate JP Ferolino Abrina for winning the contest in this site. I don't know what the whole contest is but JP's face is all over the website. Ishee also said that the site was bryanboy level so this site must be really popular.

Spreaking of bryanboy, I am now in love with Iekeliene Stange, Gemma Ward and Daria Werbowy. Three beautiful woman that would make for perfect mates. I just wish I had a chance with any one of them. I'd be on top fo the world. woohoo.

Another thing. Ishee, I'm still poor. My mom wants me to take a job but I'm shy. I'm scared of the interview part and I have no skills that would really be useful in any occupation.

That Was It!

How anti-climactic was the season finale of Heroes!
I thought that it was gonna be the best show they would do in the whole season but it didn't live up to my expectations.
A show that had the premise of action ended with an episode that could only be best described as mushy gushy.
If they tried to get the sympathy of it's viewers and wanted them to go "oh that was so sad" it failed miserably.
Compared to the season finale of Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy, the Heroes finale was an utter disappointment.
At least the two shows finale were in context of the whole show.
They should have had Sylar and Peter duke it out or something.
Anything that would leave the viewers on the edge of their seats.
Maybe I was just too hyped about the whole finale thing.
It just left me confuse

I'm not saying that it was bad, I'm just saying that compared to the other finales of other shows there was no comparison.
I especially loved the season finale of Ugly Betty.
It was the best episode they had and after watching that I really rooted for Heroes to top it.
But... Oh well. I still can't wait for the second season though.
I wonder what the hell will happen next.
I really can't figure out what they'll do next after the events of the finale.
I'm really interested.

I'm really addicted with Family Guy.
Some of my thoughts are even in the voice of Stewie Griffin.
Does that mean I'm crazy?

Anticipation

The Heroes Finale is tonight. I'm so excited.
I'm so intrigued on what's gonna happen next.
I want my questions answered.
Will Hiro be able to stop the "exploding man"?
Probably Not.
Who is the "exploding man"? Is it Peter Petrelli or is it Sylar?
I'm gonna say that it's Peter.
Will Ando and Mikah really die?
With all the deaths of main characters in this show, it's amazing that they don't just kill of every single character.

I hope they answer all these questions tonight because it's gonna be another 2 months before the new season begins. (I think)
Why can't they just make the seasons continuously. harumph.
The show that's gonna take it's time slot sounds interesting though.

It's 1:00 in the morning here and I'm still not sleepy. I really wanna sleep. I wanna take something to sleep but I'm afraid I'm gonna be dependant on it if I use it too much. So no more.

So since I'm awake, I;m gonna talk about this show I like. It's called 30 Rock. This show is really amazing. I think that it's gonna be the next "Everybody love Raymond" show. It's witty, funny and smart. Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin are just amazing in this show. I especially love the episode with the "Blue man". They're all crazy.

I Have A New Header

My new header is so nice. The girl is Saber from Fate/Stay Night. She's supposed to be the real King Arthur.
I am officially addicted to manga and anime. I'm so addicted that I'm already planning on taking Japanese classes so that I won't need the subtitles anymore.

I'm Back!!!

After my hiatus, I am now back. After getting my alphabet soup grade, I have now have enthusiasm for blogging again.
The first thing I wanna tell you guys is the injustice that happened in American Idol.
Melinda Doolittle should have won American Idol or at least have been in the final two. I have nothing against Jordin Sparks, I think she's a pretty good singer, the problem I have is with Blake Lewis.
Let's face it, He doesn't sing that well, compared to Melinda at least. It's just too disappointing.
I don't think that I'll watch the finale.

Another thing I wanna talk about is Ugly Betty.
This is definitely one of the best shows of the season.
The finale was the best episode ever. I got even more depressed when I watched it.
The season finale of Grey's Anatomy didn't help too much either.
Talk about depressing. It seems like nobody will ever have be happy on that show.
The chief doesn't even get what he wants.

Heroes is another cool show. I think Ishee's right that the finale for this season is gonna be like the series finale of Buffy.
I think she's also right about the Claire and Peter connection. I really think they should get together.
And Ishee, I think that Claire will never die well as long as there's nothing lodge in her brain.

Television has really made a comeback. There was a time that only Anime was the only thing that brought joy to my life.
Now, Television makes me happy too. Viva la Television!!!!
